System Administrator
Our team is growing and looking for a responsible person for a new position. The system administrator will work directly with the American client and solve important technical issues in his/her competence.
You will:
Conduct operational alert handling, troubleshooting, and remediation;
Address security incidents, analyze and act on threat alerts;
Provide Endpoint Protection — deployment and administration of antivirus products;
Deploy critical security updates for Windows OS and device firmware;
Participate in IT Operations project work;
Perform backups and backup restores to client servers;
Provide network scans;
Test new products;
Work with NY time zone.
You have:
Basic experience with administration of Windows workstations and servers;
Active Directory and GPO (group policies);
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis);
Knowledge of networking concepts (OSI model, physical components) and IPv4 addressing;
Knowledge of firewall configuration and familiarity with traffic rules, NAT, DHCP, DNS;
Basic knowledge of storage configurations (NAS, SAN, RAID levels);
Experience with any of the following technologies: Labtech / Connectwise, Acronis Backups, Sonicwall security products, Microsoft Exchange, SMTP, Microsoft SQL Server, Hyper-V, VMware (as a plus but not a requirement).
